It’s been a while since I’ve written a proper update, so I thought I’d pop in with a little catch up because, as always, life has been full on. Between work, juggling my health, and keeping the family ticking along, it’s been one of those seasons where the days just blur.
I tried joining choir again (because I do love a good singing session) but honestly, it’s been near impossible to fit it in around everything else. I’m trying to listen to my body more and that means making space instead of stuffing my schedule with too much. That said, I have been making a real effort to connect with new people outside of my usual circle, something that doesn’t come naturally to me but it’s been good for the soul.

If you’re local to Stevenage and fancy a cuppa and a chat sometime, make sure you join the Facebook Group – Mums in GA and surrouding areas. Would love to see you at the next catch-up.
Now for the really exciting bit…
I’ve quietly been working away on something very close to my heart and it’s finally time to share it properly. Bonita Eloise.
It’s a brand-new venture that brings together my love for vintage crockery and Eloise’s magical way of seeing the world differently. You might’ve seen the post where she turned her old cot into a bookshelf. That simple act completely changed something in me.
So now, together, we’re giving a new life to beautiful old things. We’re making teacup planters, vintage bird feeders, and one-off art pieces using antique and vinatge crockery that I’ve lovingly sourced over the years. Every piece is thoughtfully chosen, not to hide its story but to celebrate it.

There’s just something so special about turning something that might’ve ended up forgotten into something useful and beautiful again. That’s what Bonita Eloise is all about.
If you’re into planters, quirky little bird feeders, or one-off statement pieces, I’d love for you to have a peek at the website and follow us on social media. I’m releasing the very first collection on 8th June (my birthday, because of course) but there’ll be a 24-hour preview release for anyone on the list. That preview list sign up closes at the end of next week, so do jump on it if you want early access.
There’s very limited stock for each drop, just whatever I’ve had time to find, restore and reinvent. If you miss something, don’t worry, I’ll be adding more as I go and sharing updates through our socials and newsletter.
In a world that moves so fast, I’m leaning into slowness. Into reuse, into creativity, into giving things a second life.
Thanks, as always, for following my journey and for always showing love. Can’t wait to share more soon.
Love always,
Bonita xoxo
