Ingredients
- 1 large cabbage ( White or Savoy will work fine)
- 500gms of minced meat ( pork and turkey )
- 170gms of cooked rice ( use leftover rice if you prefer)
- 1 large finely minced onion
- 1 egg
- 150 sauerkraut, divided
- 2 cans (14 oz) tomato sauce, divided
- 1 can (14 oz) diced or crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice (or more to taste)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar (or more to taste)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1/2 cup chicken stock or water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Prep Time: 1 Hour
Cook Time: 2 Hours
Servings: 12-16 stuffed cabbage leaves
