Throughout pregnancy, I have suffered from various aches and shakes. With SPD (Symphysis pubis dysfunction) making daily life a little too uncomfortable, I was recommended warm baths by my midwife. As a bath without aromatherapy isn’t enough for my senses, I embarked on a journey to try as many bath bombs as I could. Here are the ones that I loved the most.
Although it’s meant to be for children, I really like this bath bomb. It’s subtle enough to please my nose and with all natural ingredients, I find it well worth trying. The lavender comes through just enough and helps get your body prepare for a relaxing sleep. As it’s okay to use for babies over 6 months old, I can’t wait to use it for my little girl.
Okay, I was sold when I saw the name and the colours used in this one! If you fancy a trip to the outer space, grab this bath bomb! Imagine a faintly lit bathroom, with you laying in a bath full of magical colours, peppermint smell and… glitter! If you aren’t a big fan of glittered bombs, don’t fret just yet. The glitter in this one is quite subtle and will wash away pretty easily. This is a firm favourite in our home.
I know, rose scent is not everyone’s cup of tea. But you have to try this little beauty! The smell is quite pleasant and not too strong, the water turns a lovely shade of pink with bubbles. My skin feels pretty soft after using this in my bath. It does contain glitter though, which again, is easy to wash off and you don’t have to use it all in one go!
If purple is your favourite colour, you are going to like this bubble bar. You can easily use a quarter or half of this bubble bar to get a nice purple bath with a lovely blackcurrant smell. I found it quite soothing and the smell lasted on my skin way after the bath.
A delightful little bar that works in more ways than one. I have used it as a shower and bubble bar. Although, I know of people that have used it on their hair as well! The fun part about this bar is the colour. Each colour has a different scent to it, so you are less likely to get bored!
Just typing this post has made me wish for a nice warm bath! I hope you enjoy trying some of these beauties as much as I did. Let me know what you thought of them!
