Hello, my lovely readers! 🌸
First things first—let me start with a HUGE apology for the radio silence. I know it’s been a while (okay, a long while), but trust me, it’s been for all the best reasons. Life has been an absolute whirlwind, and I’ve been caught up in the midst of it!
For those of you who haven’t heard (where have you been?!), I’ve been laser-focused on building my company, ProsperAssist. It’s been a non-stop rollercoaster from the get-go, but oh, what a ride it’s been! Work has been consuming, yes, but in the most fulfilling way. I’ve loved every chaotic minute of it. And when I’m not knee-deep in work, I’m spending precious time with my little superstar, Eloise, and the rest of the family.
Speaking of family, we have a new (not-so-new) addition to our pet clan! He’s been with us for over 9 months now—a cheeky little puppy who insists on shadowing my mum around the house as if he’s her personal bodyguard. Honestly, he might as well be a cat with the way he insists on being glued to humans everywhere we go. I promise I’ll do a proper post soon to introduce our fur babies, because they’re all characters in their own right, and you deserve to meet them.
Now, onto the biggest news—Eloise has grown up so much since my last post! Can you believe she’s starting Year 2? I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. She’s shot up like a beanstalk, which has made back-to-school shopping a bit of a challenge. I never know what size to get her—any other parents out there feel my pain? Thankfully, my amazing mother-in-law has been a lifesaver and has already sorted most of her school wardrobe. There are still a few bits and bobs on the school list, but we’re getting there!
Oh, and here’s something that will make you smile—Eloise has been busy concocting her own recipes! Yes, you read that right. My little six-year-old has a list of recipes she’s dying to share with you all. Who knows, maybe we’ve got a future MasterChef in the making!
I’m hoping to get back to regular posting soon and fill you in on all the goings-on, from the latest family adventures to Eloise’s culinary creations. Thank you for sticking with me through the quiet times—I’ve missed our little chats!
