Happy new year to everyone!
First off, sorry it took me ages to write this post. If you don’t already know, I started a new business last year and that took all my time and energy. For the curious ones, here’s my new venture www.prosper-va.com
It’s my first day back at work and I am already missing all the lovely time I got to spend with my family, especially my little girl. She has grown a lot since my last post! I think a lot of parents with toddlers will agree with me here, once your little baby starts walking you gotta brace yourself for all the mischief they will get themselves into.
Watching her is a FULL-TIME JOB. I am so thankful to my family for helping out with babysitting while I focus on work. As soon as my day job is finished, I start my mom duty pretty much straight away. So my working day starts around 7am when Eloise wakes up and ends around 10pm after she’s gone to bed, I’ve eaten my first proper meal of the day and tidied the house up a bit. I wish there was more time in the so I could hold my daughter a little longer, maybe this is why I am breaking some parenting rule somewhere by letting her sleep in my bed when she wakes up around midnight. I don’t care what the books say, I love those late night cuddles (or kicks in the face as she takes over the whole bed).
I wonder what 2019 has in store for us. Eloise brings so much joy to everyone she meets. I have never met a soul so beautiful before. She has brought so much meaning to my life and I am really looking forward to watching her grow and change in 2019! Here’s to another adventurous year of parenting!
